Cancellation & Late Arrival Policy

Our Commitment to You

At Gower Health Clinic, we're committed to providing the best possible care to all our patients. To ensure we can serve everyone effectively, we ask for your understanding and cooperation with our cancellation policy.

Notice Period

We require at least 24 hours' notice for all appointment cancellations or changes.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment by:

  • Calling us on 01792 446366

  • Emailing info@gowerhealthclinic.com

  • Using the cancellation link in your appointment confirmation email

  • Contacting us via our online booking system

Cancellation Charges

More than 24 hours' notice: No charge - we'll simply reschedule your appointment at a time that suits you.

Less than 24 hours' notice: A cancellation fee of 50% will be charged.

Failed to attend (no-show): The full appointment fee will be charged. 

Why We Have This Policy

When appointments are cancelled at short notice or missed entirely, it prevents us from offering that time to other patients who may need care. This policy helps us:

  • Respect the time of all our patients

  • Maintain fair access to appointments

  • Support the sustainability of our practice

Exceptions

We understand that genuine emergencies happen. If you need to cancel due to:

  • Sudden illness

  • Family emergency

  • Unforeseen circumstances beyond your control

Please contact us as soon as possible. We'll discuss your situation on a case-by-case basis and do our best to accommodate you.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule to ensure we can provide quality care and maintain our schedule for other patients. In this case, our standard cancellation charges may apply.

Please contact us if you're running late—we'll do our best to accommodate you where possible.

Payment of Cancellation Fees

Cancellation fees will be:

  • Subtracted from your deposit

  • Or invoiced via email and payable within 7 days

  • Required to be settled before your next appointment
